Here we develop tomorrow's football stars. From first steps in the Bambini age group to A-Youth - we accompany young talents on their journey.
At MTV 1881 Ingolstadt, promoting young talent is at the heart of our club work. With experienced coaches and modern training methods, we develop not only football skills but also important values like team spirit, respect and fair play.
Our goal is to give every child and young person the opportunity to develop their potential and experience joy in football - regardless of their performance level.
We pursue holistic development that encompasses technical, tactical, athletic and mental aspects.
MTV 1881 was the leading club in Ingolstadt for decades and stood for successful, passionate football. In 2004, the rights were transferred to FC Ingolstadt – since then the football landscape has changed. We want to regain our former strength as an independent traditional club by building a performance-oriented but home-rooted youth department.
The goal is to train our own players for the future – not only for our men's teams, but also as a springboard to higher leagues. We focus on playful development over short-term success – technique, creativity and courage with the ball are more important than pure results. Clear consistency: From the youngest (Bambini) to U19, a common thread should be felt in the training.
We promote not only the athletic but also the personal development of our children and youth. Values like team spirit, respect, discipline and fair play are equal training goals. Players should learn to take responsibility – on and off the field.
We want to develop a pressing-oriented, active game where our teams put the opponent under pressure and play confidently. Courage with ball possession, quick switching moments and collective defending characterize our playing style. All teams orient themselves to common playing principles that are implemented age-appropriately.
MTV stands for tradition, unity and passion. The club should again become a place where children, parents and coaches feel at home. Joint events, tournaments and celebrations strengthen identification with the club.
MTV should become a leading address in Ingolstadt youth football again in the medium term. We want to keep more children in the club by combining top training with fun and community.
From first ball contacts to preparation for the men's section – each age group has its specific development goals.
Playfully introduced to football, movement, fun and ball familiarization are the focus.

Deepening technique, introduction to group tactical elements (teamwork, recognizing spaces).
Stronger focus on game systems, switching, first performance-oriented training.
Promoting individual strengths, tactical understanding, targeted preparation for the men's section.
Performance-oriented training, athletic and tactical maturity, stepping stone to men's teams or higher leagues.

Parents are an important part of our community. They not only support their children but also shape club life.
